Unlock Bath - Team Brown

Team Brown's submission for the Unlock Bath GameJam.

Game Objective: solve the puzzles to escape the Bath Mineral Water Hospital.

About: 2D top-down game. Use WASD/Arrow keys to move. E to interact with the environment. R to reset the crates on the ground floor.

How we approached the brief: 

• The map design is directly based on the 'Min'. 
• Rooms are decorated to reflect their purpose as shown on the floorplan (limited to free & self-created assets)
• Faithfully followed the plot given in the brief 

Side Note:

We arranged to visit the BMM and RNHRD & Brownsword Therapies Centre, but were unfortunately turned down. This also limited the accuracy with which we could replicate the environment. 

We did want to incorporate more features in line with the brief (such as a female protagonist and the fact they had to "sham a bad attack of rheumatism"), but the time constraint in conjunction with the steep learning curve made this impossible.

Although this was our first ever crack at game development, Unity and C#, we really enjoyed the experience and are highly grateful for the opportunity.
